I have been chosen by a top gallery in the heart of the cultural quarter of Venice to be one of their featured artists during the forthcoming Biennale season. The Biennale is a major international contemporary art show put on every other year, and lasts the whole of the summer.

I Venice as often as I can and particularly enjoy working from life there, especially during dusk and at night.

My work has been featured on one of the biggest stands at the Affordable Art Fair in London this year. Hampshire-based Neville Contemporary Art has been following my progress for a few years and chose my latest collection of work called ‘City Squares’ for display on their stand at this high-profile event.

Contemporary Art commented, ‘In City Squares Ron has discovered a theme and style which is admired by people across the generations. It is not quite abstract, but is still a very modern and fresh approach to urban landscapes.’

Currently I have a mixed exhibition of work at the Stable Gallery.

I will be showing a range of work on a stand at the Royal Welsh Show from the 24th to the 27th of July.

In August I will be at the Bristol Flower show on the 17th to the 19th and at Westonbirt Arboretum for The Festival of Wood : Exhibitree from the 24th to the 27th.

In September I will be sending out invitations to an exhibition of my very latest work during H. Art, which is Herefords big visual art event with dozens of artists studios open and many gallery exhibitions. It opens on the 8th and runs until the 16th. I am running a work shop during the first weekend and then I will be demonstrating in the gallery all the rest of the week.
